On Friday 5 June, summer kicks off with lift-accessed biking, family-friendly activities and the chance to try out this season’s latest bike gear.

On Saturday, Sweden’s National Day is celebrated with full speed at Åre Bike Park – don’t miss the most anticipated biking weekend of the year!

Friday, June 5

10:00 – We cut the ribbon and celebrate the opening of the lifts for the 2026 summer season
10:00–16:00 – Stjärnliften open
Åre Bike Park Trail opens for the season (open 24/7)
16:00 – After Bike at Broken
Red Bull is on site at the base of the 6-seater lift, bringing music and great vibes

Saturday, June 6

10:00–16:00 – Stjärnliften open
12:00 – Swedish National Day celebration with ice cream and coffee
13:30–14:30 – Together with Åre Bergscyklister, we host a downhill race in Double Dave (from Fjällgården)
16:00 – After Bike at Broken
Red Bull is on site at the base of the 6-seater lift, bringing music and great vibes

Sunday, June 7

Cycling in Åre Bike Arena

Discover Scandinavia’s biggest mountain biking playground, with downhill biking, trail riding and skills areas for children, beginners and experienced riders. Here, a true mountain feel meets lift assisted biking and trails for different levels. Build confidence and technique on easier trails, or take on steep turns, jumps and fast-paced descents that get your pulse racing.
