Lights & Key Cards

Insert your key card in the holder by the door to turn on the lights.
Need an extra card? Just drop by reception, and we’ll be happy to help!

Reception is located on the 4th floor of the main building.

Parking

For fire safety reasons, please do not park in the roundabout.
A parking garage is available – contact reception for details.

Fire Safety

Download the VEA Fire Safety app to receive fire alarms directly on your phone.
This solution is particularly useful for people who are hard of hearing or may not notice audible alarms.

In case of a fire alarm, your phone will notify you with vibrations, flashing lights, and adapted sounds.

Ski Storage

The ski room is on the 3rd floor with ski in/ski out access.

Several ski lockers are available, but we cannot guarantee one for every guest. Please ask at reception.

Bike Storage

Bikes are not allowed in rooms or apartments.

Secure bike storage is available in P-2, monitored by CCTV and open 07:00–22:00.
Please note that an additional fee applies if you bring your bike into the room.

Grocery Stores

The hotel does not have its own grocery store, but the nearest shop is 200m away at Turistsenteret.

For a wider selection, visit Trysil town centre (2 km), where you will also find hairdressers, clothing stores, a bookshop, and an optician.

There is parking in the town centre, or you can take the ski bus from Turistsenteret.

Safe Drinking Water

The water in Trysil is of excellent quality and can be drunk straight from the tap.

We recommend using cold water for drinking and cooking – it is not advised to drink hot tap water.

Ventilation & Room Temperature

When you insert your key card into the holder, the room’s ventilation system is activated.

It takes up to three minutes for the airflow to start or stop once the card is removed.

Temperature changes take a few hours to take full effect and will continue even if you remove the key card. Only the ventilation turns off when the card is removed.

Recycling

All waste must be sorted.

• Hotel rooms: General waste bin provided. Bottles and cardboard can be placed beside it.
• Apartments: Bins for general and food waste are provided. Cardboard, plastic, and glass/metal must be sorted separately.

The recycling room is on the 3rd floor. Take the west lift, turn left through the door, and you’ll find it on the left side.

Pilot Project: Nine selected rooms have separate bins for organic waste, glass/metal, cardboard, and general waste. These rooms are clearly marked.
