Information about lodging

ROOM NUMBER AND BUILDING

The hotel consists of several buildings and it can be difficult to find your way around the first time you visit us. To make it easier to orientate yourself, you can download a map of the building here.

The first digit of the room number indicates which floor the room is on and the second digit indicates which lodge the room is in (A=1, B=2, C=3, D=4, E=5, F=6, G=7).

The reception is located in Lodge H, together with the Bar, Staff, Trattoria Luca, Spa and conference room.

In lodges A - G there are apartments, recycling rooms and SkiStarshop.

LIGHTS AND KEY CARDS

To switch on the lights in hotel rooms and apartments, a key card must be placed in the candle holder. If you do not have a card, you must contact reception to obtain one or alternatively use another type of card/key card that is suitable.

The reception is located on the first floor of the main building.

TELEVISION SYSTEM AND CHROMECAST

All hotel rooms and apartments have access to TV and entertainment via Chromecast. Read this user guide for more information on connection and use.

Wi-Fi

The hotel is connected to SkiStar Free WiFi, so you can surf, stream and keep in touch with friends and family for free while enjoying your mountain holiday.

Daily cleaning

Daily cleaning is included in all hotel rooms, including the lodges. There is no daily cleaning of the apartments.

RUBBISH AND SORTING AT SOURCE

All rubbish and waste must be sorted at source. The hotel rooms have rubbish bins and the apartments have bins for residual waste and food waste. Cardboard, plastic and glass/metal must be sorted at source.

There is a recycling room on the third floor between lodges D and E in connection with the P4 garage. The recycling room is opened with a key card. The outdoor containers are not used.

FOOD

The hotel does not have its own grocery store and the nearest grocery store is Fageråsen Handel located at Høyfjellssenteret (1 km). There is a wider range of shops in the centre of Trysil (10 km).

There are parking facilities at Høyfjellssenteret and in the centre, and the ski bus also runs between the hotel and Høyfjellssenteret and down to Trysil centre.

Tollbar road

On Fageråsvegen there is an automatic toll with licence plate recognition and camera. The fee is paid by autopay and costs from 60 NOK per pass.
