What should you bring when heading to the mountains? If you are unsure what to pack, do not worry. We have created a checklist with the most important items for your ski holiday.
Tip: You do not have to buy everything new for your ski holiday. In our shops, you will find most of what you need – and you can also rent ski equipment, borrow from family or friends, or look for second-hand equipment.
If you want to rent, borrow or buy second-hand, it is a good idea to start early. Here is an overview of the most important equipment for your ski holiday.
Packing list for your ski trip
On the slopes, think ‘layer upon layer’ and from the inside out
- base layer, ski socks, neck warming buff
- back protector
- fleece jumper or other reinforcement garment
- ski jacket, ski trousers
- gloves, hat
- ski helmet, ski goggles
- ski boots/snowboard boots

- snacks to keep handy in your pocket
Good to have if it is cold
- thicker buff or balaclava
- water-repellent mittens
- thin down jacket or primaloft to wear under your ski jacket
