Accommodation Guide

Right by the slope or a little more secluded? Self-catering or full service? Restaurants outside the door or close to nature? We help you choose the right accommodation for your ski holiday.

Choose the right accommodation for your ski holiday

The best accommodation depends on how you want to travel, who you are travelling with and how close you want to stay to slopes, services and activities. Here is a simple guide to different types of accommodation at SkiStar.

Comfortable, accessible and close to everything

For a comfortable mountain holiday with ski in/ski out, restaurants, spa, ski rental and services under one roof, SkiStar Lodge is a good choice. You can choose between self-catering apartments and hotel rooms with a high level of service in Sälen, Vemdalen, Trysil and Hemsedal.

Close to nature and a little more secluded

For many guests, a cabin is an important part of the ski holiday. It gives you more space, a quieter setting and easy access to nature after a day on the slopes. Choose between classic mountain cabins with a rustic feel and modern cabins with a high standard.

Room for everyone you travel with

If you are travelling with extended family, other families or colleagues, there are plenty of spacious accommodation options with room for many guests. Our larger properties offer a high standard, and several include a sauna, fireplace and terrace. They are especially practical for school holidays, festive breaks and company trips.

Hotels and family hotels for an easier holiday

If you want a simple and relaxing mountain holiday, a hotel is a safe choice. You check in to made beds, breakfast buffet and no departure cleaning. Several hotels have restaurants, spas, playrooms and other facilities. Travelling with children? See our family-friendly hotels.

A home away from home

An apartment is a good choice if you want your own space and self-catering during your ski holiday. After a day on the slopes, you can come home, cook together and enjoy time with family or friends. We offer apartments in several sizes, from modern accommodation close to the slope to more secluded alternatives.
