Welcome to a true football celebration! Sälen Summer Games is a cup for boys & girls, born 2016, with plenty of fun for players and families, in partnership with Luxcuper and We Love Football.

A football cup in the mountains – something out of the ordinary

In the summer of 2027, Sälen will be filled with football-loving young people, who all come here to play exciting matches and have fun experiences both on and off the pitch.

Football is not the only thing on the programme – during the cup days, there will be activities for the whole family: biking on mountain trails, SummerSki, Mountain Coaster, a climbing park with ziplines, a water park and much more.

There will be days full of movement, team spirit and shared experiences for both players and families.

Quick facts:

  • 18-20 June: boys & girls, born 2016
  • 7v7, all matches are played 2 x 20 min
  • All teams are guaranteed games all three days and play at least six matches
  • All matches are played on artificial turf, at Tjärnhedens IP, Sälen

Stay comfortably close to everything

SkiStar Lodge Lindvallen is around 10 minutes from the football pitches at Tjärnheden and close to Svansjön, with a climbing park, padel and biking trails. Experium, with its water park, bowling and spa, is right next door to the hotel.

    Easily accessible mountain holiday for the entire family. Take the lift up for cycling, hiking and running. Hang out with Valle or try out adventure golf and our new climbing park featuring ziplines.

  • Welcome home to SkiStar Lodge Lindvallen

    The hotel is located at the foot of Lindvallen’s lifts and slopes, right next to the popular cross-country trails. The apartments have been newly renovated for winter 2025/26, with updated surfaces and furnishings. Just a stone’s throw away is Svansjön, the main summer activity area, featuring a climbing park, padel courts, and cycling trails. The heart of the hotel is the Lodge Bar, with an open fireplace and cosy seating. Right next door is Experium, the adventure centre with a pool, bowling, and spa.
