Nitro Snowboards was born in 1990 in Seattle, Washington when two snowboarders began designing high-quality equipment, because they felt that there were no really good alternatives on the market.
Nitro's goal is to drive the development of snowboarding with innovative products in terms of engineering, design and materials. Nitro was the first to introduce the asymmetric twin-tip board, the first women's pro model, progressive sidecuts, and the first three-piece adjustable freestyle binding, to name just a few.
The passionate design and development team have been with the company from day one and today products are manufactured all over the world. All thoroughly tested by a dedicated team. Nitro snowboards are distributed internationally by an equally dedicated team.
