Hazel W skis Jacket from 8848 Altitude is the very definition of a sporty, luxurious and comfortable ski jacket. The jacket combines modern materials with stylish design and exquisite craftsmanship. The outer material durAtec® Extreme has high water resistance and good breathability. Stitched, quilted contrast panels on the chest and back reinforce the jacket's sophisticated character. The neatly integrated side panels are made of artificial leather.
The garment is not fully taped but has taped seams at exposed places for good weather protection under normal conditions. The quilted panels are padded with PrimaLoft® Silver Eco Thermo Plume, a feather light synthetic filling with a down feel. Other padding in the jacket is a 120 gram polyester. The soft inner lining is dyed with the environmentally friendly process e.dye®, a method where no water is needed as with traditional dying.
The jacket has every conceivable function a skier could want: Detachable hood that can be easily adjusted with drawstrings, the inside of the collar is lined with soft fleece. A smooth snow gaiter in stretch material and zipped cuffs prevent snow from penetrating. Under the arms there is an integrated ventilation system with zippers that can be opened when needed. The jacket has two hand pockets at the waist, lined with soft tricot material, and a hidden ski pass pocket on the sleeve. On the inside there are two inner pockets, one of which has a zip and the other one is a mesh accessory pocket. The sturdy zippers from YKK® are waterproof, with zippers in a dark chrome finish that enhances the exclusive look. The jacket is stylishly profiled with the brand's iconic 8th in metal on the chest and a small embossed logo on the inner wind flap.
