Fluoride-free wax for cold conditions

HS5 Turquoise -10°c/-18°C from Swix is fluoride-free and the hardest wax in the HS series, making it an excellent choice in cold conditions due to its high durability and dry friction properties. It is a great choice for both Alpine and Cross-country skiing. Despite being a wax for cold conditions, the melting point makes it easy to apply without sacrificing the great gliding properties. Works for both new, old and artificial snow. The speed of the wax iron should be approx. 8-10 seconds on skating skis. The wax can be warmed up again after cooling to room temperature (10 min) for better durability. Scraping should be done after approx. one minute. Please note that it's important to have a good iron in order to melt the wax effectively. HS5 can be used as a race wax only or as a base for top coats.
