Nidecker Supermatic is a Step In binding for snowboarders who want to tighten as quickly as skiers. You tighten yourself by stitching the foot into a binding and pressing further, then you go off. A big advantage of Supermatic is that you can continue to ski with completely ordinary snowboard boots. The binding provides quick and robust response forwards and backwards while providing a little more flexibility laterally. Supermatic has a full-length strap that holds the foot without pressure points. The foot bed is padded and absorbs shocks and provides a good grip against the boots. The binding can be adjusted to your foot in the same way as traditional snowboard bindings.
