Skiing Holidays Hundfjället

Hundfjället is popular with families with young children thanks to the many slopes in multiple directions and varied difficulty levels. Here you will also find the Trollskogen enchanted forest adventure area and the large beginners' area Trollbäckstorget. For the smallest children we offer day-care.

Lodging in Hundfjället

Hundfjället's best accommodation is undoubtedly SkiStar Lodge Hundfjället, which has the best possible central location and focus on comfort and relaxation. Staying in Hundfjället puts you close to the ski slopes and lifts. It offers apartments and cabins that are well suited for families with children and smaller hotels rooms for those who prefer a simple lodging option with the ski slopes right outside the door. 

 

Skiing in Hundfjället

Ski slopes head out from Hundfjället in all directions and the whole family can take the one of the three chairlifts to the top together. Ski slopes at all difficulty levels then head down from there. Hundfjället is also home to the popular Trollskogen, or Enchanted Forest adventure area, with over 450 trolls and figures. Here you also find one of Sweden's steepest slopes, Väggen.

Trollbäckstorget

There are slow button lifts, easy slopes and conveyor belts for the little ones. Under the chair lift East Express (formerly E8) you will find Hundfjället sledding slope.

Enchanted Forest

The Trollskogen enchanted forest, which is located up in the ski area and most easily accessible via the button lifts, features trees, wood trolls and all sorts of characters that are brought to life through light and sound. At the bottom of the Trollskogen enchanted forest is the troll's hut, Trollens Fäbod, where Valle hosts shows several days a week. It is reachable on foot and with a pushchair.

Snow Park & Fun Ride

SkiStar Fun Ride is a hill with jumps, bumps and velodromes that are built to suit everyone, from small children and beginners to advanced skiers. Hundfjällets Fun Ride is located in slope 6.

The nearest Snow Park is located in Östra Tandådalen. Easily reachable by Ski & Swim bus or via transport lifts.
