Yumi is the women's version of the men's version Kanjo and the big news item for Völkl all-mountain. Yumi is made for women who want a ski for the whole ski resort but think that its sister Kenja is too heavy and its waist too wide. In comparison with Kenja, Yumi is both quicker and more lively. Yumi has borrowed the technique for including metal in the build from its wider male cousin Confession - Titanal strips which gives the construction torsional stiffness without adding too much weight. The tip & tail rocker and obviously the Multi layer woodcore unique for Völkl makes Yumi truly German quality, which is perfect for a lot of people yet affordable. ÅKA SKIDOR praised its brother Kanjo in its All-mountain test and (obviously) gave it a gold medal. Yumi has exactly the same construction but shorter lengths and nicer design.
