DEACON 84 has all Völkl's innovations, such as the unique "3D.Ridge" construction which produces less vibrations and at the same time maximum edge grip, the Titanal Frame provides stability without making the skis too difficult to ride. The "3 Radius Sidecut" side cut profile opens up an even wider experience.

The ski is divided into three sections, with a long and safe radius at the front, while a short radius is under the foot and finished with a medium length radius at the rear. Combine this new cut profile with Völkl's unique rocker shape "XTD tips- & Tail rocker" and you'll have much more fun on the DEACON 84 at lower speeds with low edge angles, while the longer radii at the front and back calm down the skis when you go at really high speeds. So: short and fun radius when you need it - long and stable radius when you want it! Added to this is the Marker LowRide XL binding unique to DEACON 80/84 which gives quicker edge-to-edge behaviour.
DEACON 84 is a little harder and more stable than its little brother DEACON 80, and is suitable for those who either weigh more, have trained on bare ground or simply ride with maximum power and precision on all bases - freshly prepared, driven up, artificial snow, icy, spring slush or loose snow.
