Last night the temperature dropped below zero, and the slopes may be hard-packed at opening but softens during the day. There may be icy sections where the top layer of snow has been scraped away during the day.

We still have good snow coverage in the slopes where we have snow from the snow cannons.

The mild temperatures affect the natural snow, so ski with awareness as snow coverage may be thin at the top of Mittbacken and Dalbacken in Björnrike, as well as in Fjällbacken and Söderbacken in Storhogna.

There is also a risk of gravel and small stones falling onto the piste from slopes where the snow has melted back. Please be attentive in these areas.

The ski bridges at Vemdalsskalet may develop thin snow coverage during the day, so ski carefully.

The cross-country tracks in Björnrike are not groomed daily due to the weather. We want to keep them in good condition for as long as possible. Mild temperatures combined with grooming machines wear down the snow, and we assess daily whether grooming is possible or not.
