Hovercraft is a combination of full speed and flexibility in loose snow and forest runs. You may be visually fooled by the tail at the rear which looks short and small. But take a glance at the effective edge and how much board is in the snow as you turn, and you'll start to see why this board works so well. Hovercraft is about 5 cm shorter in actual length compared to its effective riding surface and this gives you a full cutting edge but a board that is 5 cm shorter to manoeuvre in loose snow against the same surface area. This means that when you ride on hard or steep surfaces you have a great, long edge to rely on yet while you head down the piste and onto powder it sinks down and becomes super quick edge to edge as you twist your way down between trees or other obstacles.
