They are made of a lightweight but robust Two-layer DryVent ™ shell material that is waterproof and windproof and breathable so that neither snowfall nor sweat causes issues. The stretchy gaiters fit over all types of ski and snowboard boots and the exposed surfaces are reinforced for better abrasion resistance. Since these are shell trousers, we recommend that you combine them with a base layer for protection in cold weather.
