Here your heart will race thanks to all sorts of downhill skiing, good times with friends and family, and days full to bursting with activities. Tandådalen's ski system offers Sälen's most extreme alpine skiing. This is where the pulse speeds up a bit and the slopes are a bit tougher. If you prefer a calmer pace, Östra Tandådalen has wonderful carving slopes and a great 4-seater chairlift.
Tandådalen's ski system is connected to Hundfjället's ski system via transport lifts. The journey takes approx. 15 minutes. The two systems together form the Tandådalen/Hundfjället ski area. Your ski pass for Tandådalen is also valid for Hundfjället.

Parks and arenas
Next to Tandådalen Super Park, the largest park, you will also find Tandådalen Junior Park which is aimed at the younger "park rats". Big Air Arena and iPark are two park areas in central Tandådalen. Big Air Arena is a permanent jump arena next to the Stora Backen where "half pipen" used to be. Outside of Tandådalens wärdshus you will find iPark, which is a rail and box arena. Both Big Air Arena and iPark were created to open early on in the season, hopefully as soon as the classic ski test weekend at the end of November. Read more about the park areas at Sälenparks.com.
Ski school
All group ski schools gather at Barnens Fjäll and there are private ski schools in both Tandådalen centrum and Tandådalen Östra. Read more about the ski school.
