The day offers sunny weather and great conditions for a lovely day on the slopes. However, keep in mind that it can be a little icy in some places, so ski carefully and adjust your speed to the surface.
The sun is affecting the natural snow, so ride carefully as there can be a thin snow cover at the top of Solsvängen, Gråhågna, Mittbacken and Dalbacken on Björnrike.
The alpine women's national team is sharpening their golden form ahead of the World Cup competitions in Åre and training in the Storslalombacken in Björnrike in the morning. The slope therefore opens later in the day, around lunchtime.

A family-friendly expansion of the skiing at Vemdalsskalet is taking shape. Stage one of Hovde Syd will open for Christmas 2025 and will offer a red and several blue slopes, as well as a family-friendly park!
