Race Course

Skutskjutet consists of two parallel tracks, each 1.6 kilometres long. They are so easy that anyone from about 3 to 100 years old can do it!

You start at the Ripleden/Långsvängen junction (descent 36), then down Långsvängen (34) and on into Röde Orm (40) and Rödingen (41) before reaching the finish in Ripan (37) at Rödkullen.

Training day: Friday 08:30-13:00 (weather permitting)

Competition day: Saturday - first start at 08:00 - arrive in time for your own start time!

Start number and helmet must be worn during training and competition.

You can borrow a helmet for free at the start!

How do I get to the start?

Option 1: Ski bus from Kabinbanan to Rödkullen.

Option 2: VM8 (Å22) from Åre Fjällby and down to Rödkulleliftarna (Å19). Follow the signs at Rödkulleliftarna mountain station to the start (towards Ullådalen).

From central Åre: Stjärnliften (Å30) - down to VM8:an (Å22).

Alternative 3: From Ullådalsliftarna (Å14) you reach the start at Ripleden.
