Skiing rules

1

Pay attention - be considerate
Act in a way so you don’t risk harming anybody else.

2

Adapt your speed
and way of skiing to the terrain, your equipment, the weather and your own skills.

3

Ski in the right direction!
When you are coming from above, you must give way for the riders in front of you.

4

Take over with good margin!
Make sure to keep a big enough distance when taking someone over, that the skier has enough leeway.

5

Start off carefully!
Always check - both uphill and downhill, to see if the slopes are clear before you take off skiing.

6

Only stop in places you can be seen!
If you have to stop – do it in places where others easily can see you and take you over.
If you fall – get out of the way as quickly as possible.

7

Climb up, next to the slopes
especially when the view is bad.

8

Respect the signs!
Rules and instructions on the slopes are there for your and others' well-being. Follow them!

9

Help us!
You must assist in case of accidents.

10

Give your name and address!
If you are involved in an accident, you have to give your name and address.
