The Norwegian Alpine Ski Championships 20-26 March is one of the great highlights of the season. This is where the entire Norwegian alpine family meets for all types of skiing - including downhill. There will be a so-called speed downhill race of two laps, as well as slalom, big slalom, and super-G.

Norway now has as many as four slalom skiers who are ranked in the top 15 in the World Cup. We also have Aleksander Aamodt Kilde, who won the World Cup combined in 2020 and Utforcupen last season, and Ragnhild Mowinckel. Both are among the best speed skiers in the world. In other words, the level is sky-high.

The NM days start with the downhill race and end with the slalom. NRK will broadcast live from Høgegga over the three days.

"We are going to make it a great event and recommend that everyone makes the trip to Høgegga during the NM-downhill," said Arild Olsen from the event committee. The organiser is Trysil Sports Team.
