From 21-27 January 2019, the whole skiing world will succumb to a collective Hahnenkamm fever. The best skiers in the world head to Kitzbühel to celebrate the highlight of the World Cup calendar. Stay in St.Johann located 10.9 km from Kitzbühel.
Streif is the most spectacular downhill course in the world and will demand everything from the athletes - as always!
Kitzbühel has been hosting the Hahnenkamm Race since 1931. The fixtures since those very early years have been the downhill on the Streif (in Berman) and the slalom on the Ganslernhang (in German). After a short break, the historic slalom slope is back in use. Since the 1990s, a Super-G has also been contested on the Streif, which heralds the start of the skiing weekend on the Friday.
