SkiStar AB (publ) is listed on Nasdaq Stockholm, Mid Cap segment. The Group owns and operates Alpine ski resorts in Sälen, Åre and Vemdalen, and Hammarbybacken (Stockholm) in Sweden, Hemsedal and Trysil in Norway as well as St. Johann in Tirol in Austria.

SkiStar's market share in Sweden was 49 percent. The market share in Norway was 30 percent, while the share for Scandinavia was 41 percent. The core business is alpine skiing, with a focus on the guest’s overall skiing experience. Operations are divided into the three segments; Ski Resorts - Operation, Infrastructure and Exploitation.

SkiStar's business concept is to create memorable mountain experiences as the leading operator of European alpine destinations, which creates value for guests, employees and other stakeholders, which in turn creates value for shareholders.

The business model and the basic strategy assume that, through a distribution channel, the entire range of accommodation at SkiStars destinations will provide a high level of coverage, which in turn is a prerequisite for maximizing the sale of SkiPass. To achieve this, SkiStar will work to ensure that all actors at the destinations offer a high quality product and service to provide satisfied and recurring guests. The sale of SkiPass is the major value driver in SkiStars operations.
