The very backbone of the Mindbender series is the notion that carving and freeriding should not be mutually exclusive. It should be possible to carve and enjoy great freeriding using the same ski. This has been achieved through a design called Torsion Control Design. This technology makes it possible to make the ski extremely stiff at the front (for better ice grip and stability) but also make it more playful at the tail for better responsiveness. The design is called Titanal Y-Beam Technology and is a metal layer that is strategically placed where needed to enhance different characteristics.
