30 day return policy

For you to feel entirely happy with your purchase, SkiStar offers a 30 day cooling-off period from when you receives the good or the better part of the order. 

So that we can offer a full refund or replacement the good must be kept in an essentially unchanged condition. If the good is returned in a worse condition, SkiStar has the right to make a deduction for the loss in value. This also applies to damaged original packaging and labels.

The cooling-off period does not apply to goods that have been made or adapted according to the customer's special requirements, e.g. mounting of skis.

To return or exchange a good, log in to “My page” on the website or use the link sent to you with your order. You can find instructions and order a returns label on “My page”.

Go into orders/bookings and click on ‘Details’ for the order you would like to return/exchange. Select ‘Order returns label’ and fill in the form. We send the returns label to your address as quickly as possible, but it may take up to 24 hours.

Exchanges:
If you want to exchange your goods, you place a new order. This is to ensure that we have the goods in stock and for you to receive your new order as quickly as possible.

We defrays the cost of one exchange per consignment, provided that our return label is used. If our return label is not used, we will not be able to reimburse the carriage cost.

Returns:
A carriage cost of SEK 49 is chargeable for returns, which we deducts from the refund amount.

Exchanging and returning items in our stores:
You can also return or exchange items that you have bought online in one of our SkiStarshop Concept Stores in Sälen, Åre and Vemdalen. Exchanges and returns in our stores are free of charge. You must take with you the order confirmation that you received with your purchase, which is the equivalent of a receipt. This will enable the staff at the checkout to help you.

Please note: Online purchases ordered for and delivered to addresses in Sweden CANNOT be exchanged or returned at our Hemsedal shop. This because of customs regulations between Sweden and Norway.

Packaging when returning or exchanging goods

For returns and exchanges, you bears the risk in the good during return transit until we has received the good. You is responsible for packing and handling the good in such a way that it cannot be damaged in transit. For a full refund or exchange, the good must be unused, returned undamaged in its original packaging, have all its labels and returned with all manuals provided with the good.

It is important that external packaging is used and that tape or other material is not stuck to the original packaging. If you have purchased hygiene items, underwear or swimwear, the seal must not be broken.

Refunds

After the returned good has been received and approved, we will refund the purchase within 14 days from when we received the returned good. All refunds are made into bank accounts only, they cannot be paid in cash. The costs of services in connection with delivery, such as carriage, is not refunded in the case of returned goods.

So that we can approve a returned good or exchange, you must be able to prove that the purchase was made from us. We recommend that you save the order confirmation and payment reference as a receipt of your purchase.
