The test winner of the last few years, RTM 84, has an even cooler big brother. RTM 86 is 2 mm wider but gives you more than that with respect to high speed capability and stability. The P-Tex 4500 base and thicker metal - Titanal - make the 86 the 'rocket' in this particular category. The RTM skis have a so called 3D.Ridge construction which is unique to Völkl and produces less vibrations and unique torsional stiffness despite being light-weight. Rocker profile in unique XTD Tip & Tail rocker shape, with a small camber underfoot. Added to this is the Marker iPT Wideride XL binding unique to RTM with more accurate and much more effective power transmission between ski boot and ski. Only for skilled to advanced skiers.
