Hemsedal is situated between Oslo and Bergen, about 200 km northwest of Oslo. Hemsedal is located high up, with slopes from 620 to 1,450 meters above sea level, and has a long skiing season with guaranteed snow.
Hemsedal has a unique atmosphere, resembling the Alps, with high peaked mountains framing the little village. Here you find amazing skiing and miles of groomed slopes winding down from the three summits surrounding the ski resort.

Hemsedal has a large selection of high standard cabins and holiday apartments, and most of them are situated close to the slopes and lifts. Hemsedal also offers several excellent restaurants and bars. Over weekends and holidays DJs and artists play at the clubs and bars, ensuring there’s always a great nightlife vibe.
