Hoji Free is compatible with all alpine bindings according to UNI EN ISO 9523 and offers alpine downhill performance and stability with climbing characteristics previously only found in alpine touring boots. The uncompromising design is based on new expertise, innovations and technology.
The Hoji Lock System is a solid locking system that stabilises the cuff against the chassis without any gap. A single action locks the cables to the ski boot strap and the top buckle - one move to switch.
In walk mode, the shaft movement is 55 degrees, resulting in excellent uphill properties uphill and saving a lot of energy for the skier. The toe section's design is SK. The Speed Nose profile results in a natural, responsive, energy-saving uphill movement. The ski boot shell is made of cast Grilamid, a very stable and lightweight material reinforced with carbon fibre for unmatched torsional stiffness.
The fit is designed for normal to wide feet. Well-built, thermo-mouldable Sidas liner that is hot air shaped for optimum fit. The inserts are TÜV certified according to the Dynafit Master Step system. Compatible with Dynafit's new integrated Cramp-In crampon.
The Hoji boot is developed and designed by Canadian free rider Eric "Hoji" Hjorleifson and Fritz Barthel, inventor of the Low Tech/TLT system.
