Weekly Events Programme

Something fun is always happening at Trysil. During the winter season we have a weekly events programme with a lot of fun activities.

On this page you can read about our weekly programme for 2008/2009. The fun starts in week 52 and lasts until week 16. The activities takes place at Trysil Turistsenter (TS) and Trysil Høyfjellssenter (HS). Welcome to an active and fun ski holiday.

All day	Family Park in the Eventyret area Jumps, rails and boxes for kids in the Eventyr area (slope 21).	TS
All day	The Smotte Park Here you’ll find Gammelgård, velodromes, jumps and much more. The Smotte Park lies beside the children’s area at the Høyfjellssenteret and is open every day.	HS
09:00-15:00	Crèche Here’s help for tired and frozen small skiers. Crayons, games, films, puzzles, cars, warmth and last but not least, kind staff. All kids are welcome. NOK 80,- per hour. Week: NOK 990,-.	TS and HS
TUESDAY
13:30	Smottene in the children´s areas Meet the smottene in the childrens’ area. You’ll want to meet Smottpop, Popsmott, Puppsmott and Smottpupp, won’t you? They’re out playing and skiing and certainly want to meet you. Free of charge.	TS and HS
16:30-20:00	Night skiing Non-stop skiing until 20.00 on floodlit slopes from the 18th December 2007 to the 18th March 2008.	TS and HS
20:00	Torchlight skiing It’s a great sensation to be part of the torchlight ski procession down the Sindre slope. You can do this up to week 12 and is free of charge.	TS
WEDNESDAY
13:30-15:00	Visit Gammel at Gammelgård Gammel tells about life at Gammelgård, the home of the smottene, and treats you to hot drinks and Gammels treasure hunt. Free of charge.	HS
13:30-15:00	Skogbrum Treasure Hunt For children of all ages, different difficulty levels. You get your treasure map from Skogbrum. Meeting place is outside the ski school reception at the TS. Free of charge.	TS
14:00	Trysil Cup – fun difference slalom race. The whole family can compete in the difference slalom. Least time difference between two runs is the winner! Sign up at the starting gate. Free of charge.	TS and HS
THURSDAY
14:00	Familiefeiden – who’s fastest in the family? Who’s the best in the family on skis or snowboard? Unpretentious parallel slalom race for everyone. Sign up at the starting gate. Free of charge.	TS and HS
18:00-20:00	Kids disco Kids disco at Puben Sankt Olav. For children 6 – 12 years. Free of charge.	HS
FRIDAY
13:30-15:00	Smottene in the childrens’ area Meet the smottene in the childrens’ area. You’ll want to meet Smottpop, Popsmott, Puppsmott and Smottpupp, won’t you? They’re out playing and skiing and certainly want to meet you. Free of charge.	TS and HS
15:00	Smottecupen Easy, fun ski race for kids at both TS and HS. Music, a speaker and a good race course. Naturally, the Smottene and Skogbrum or Gammel are there to help you. Everyone gets a prise! Sign up at the ski school office. NOK 70,- per participant.	TS and HS
16:30-20:00	Night skiing Non-stop skiing until 20.00 on floodlit slopes from the 18th December 2007 to the 18th March 2008.	TS and HS
SATURDAY
10:45-12:15	Visit Gammel at Gammelgård Gammel tells about life at Gammelgård, the home of the smottene, and treats you to hot drinks and Gammels treasure hunt. Free of charge.	HS
SUNDAY
16:30-20:00	Night skiing Non-stop skiing until 20.00 on floodlit slopes from the 18th December 2007 to the 18th March 2008.	TS and HS
