The SkiPass card is your reusable plastic card, which you load with the number of days that you intend to ski and the ski field in which you are going to ski. You can purchase the card and load it here on the Internet – then you can skip the queues when you arrive and head straight for the slopes. When out on the runs, keep the SkiPass card in your left-hand pocket and just glide through the electronic SkiPass scanners.

You can use your SkiPass card time after time after time… Keep your SkiPass and load it with new skiing via our homepage before every trip you make to a SkiStar destination (Sälen, Vemdalen, Åre, Trysil, Hemsedal or Hammarbybacken). You can use the same card for a number of years in succession. The SkiPass card is of the SKI*DIRECT type.
Insurance against loss You’ll get a personal card with “insurance against loss”. If you should lose the card during your stay, we can give you the remaining skiing period back on a new card through the SkiPass system. Remember that you must always keep a note of your card number (SKI*DIRECT number). A new card costs SEK 45.
Save money by prebooking If you prebook your SkiPass on our homepage no later than 30 days before you get here, you’ll get the SkiPass card (plastic card) free. The pass normally costs SEK 45.
The last day you can purchase a new SkiPass online is 12 days prior to your arrival. If you already have a SkiPass card from a previous trip, you can reload this at our online booking service right up to the day before your arrival. This means that you can reload your card right up to 23.59 on the day before you wish to go out and ski.
If you intend to buy your SkiPass locally in Sälen, visit one of our guest service desks adjacent to the ski areas.

- A photo is only obligatory on a season pass and a SkiPass with optional days.
- The season pass is valid at all resorts – Lindvallen, Högfjället, Tandådalen and Hundfjället.
- It’s fine to upgrade a SkiPass that is valid for Lindvallen/Högfjället or Tandådalen/Hundfjället to a SkiPass (Lindvallen, Högfjället, Tandådalen and Hundfjället).
- It is not possible to extend the number of days. Instead of this, you load the number of extra days you want to ski onto the SkiPass card according to the normal price list for a new SkiPass (not by adding the difference).
