SkiStar Sälen offers one of Sweden’s longest snow guarantees – 169 days, from 15th November to 1st May.
This means that you have 169 days to choose from when booking a winter holiday without having to worry whether there’ll be snow or not. The reason why we can offer such a long snow guarantee is our natural snow situation on one of Sweden’s most snow-sure alps.
What applies? If all our resorts together – Lindvallen, Högfjället, Tandådalen and Hundfjället – do not have 15 pistes, 10 for adults and 5 for children, open during your stay in Sälen, you’ll get back what you have paid us for your downhill skiing. This means your SkiPass, ski rental and chalet rental inclusive of cancellation insurance. Information on whether the snow guarantee applies is available here on the homepage no later than 15.00 two days prior to your arrival. You then have the opportunity to cancel your stay and get your money back up to 11.00 on the day after your arrival. The snow guarantee applies from 15th November to 1st May at our resorts in Sälen: Lindvallen, Högfjället, Tandådalen and Hundfjället.
