In Lindvallen, the Snowman stands high up on the mountain and bids everyone welcome to a winter paradise for families with kids! Europe’s biggest continuous ski field for children is also here, with pommel lifts and 58 runs of varying difficulty for the whole family.

Lindvallen offers fun and excitement for kids in our adventure zones, the Snowman’s Castle and Spökskogen (the spooks’ forest), which are in the middle of the ski slopes. For those of you seeking tougher challenges, there are the steeper black runs and Lindvallen Pink Park with its jumps and jibbing. The 48 lifts include three chair lifts with four, six and eight seats to carry you quickly and in comfort to the summit. The ski system is extensive and its central gathering points are the three squares Snötorget, Gustavtorget and Sälfjällstorget. The highest vertical drop is 303 metres and the longest piste 2.5 km. Lindvallen’s ski system is interlinked with Högfjället’s ski system via transport lifts, and together the two resorts form the Lindvallen/Högfjället ski field. Your SkiPass is valid for both Lindvallen and Högfjället. It’s also possible to buy a SkiPass which covers all our resorts in Sälen: Lindvallen, Högfjället, Tandådalen and Hundfjället.

Kids’ areas and adventure zones
There are four large kids’ areas in Lindvallen/Högfjället. The area between Snötorget and Gustavtorget is Europe’s biggest continuous kids’ and beginners’ area. Read more about kids’ skiing in Lindvallen here.
The Snowman’s Castle is an adventure zone with fantastic talking figures, fun tunnels and small jumps. Below the Snowman’s Castle, in Snowman’s Valley, there’s a waffle hut, sledging slope, play hut and a run for the tiny tots. Read more about the Snowman’s Castle and Snowman’s Valley here.
Lindvallen Pink Park
Lindvallen Pink Park is a park that caters for just everyone. Beginners can take off here for the first time, while more advanced skiers can practise their rotations and jumps on the black line. Ski school
The ski school has assembly points for private and group skiing lessons in all three squares – Snötorget, Gustavtorget and Sälfjällstorget. In Lindvallen there are also special ski school areas that are a perfect place to start skiing, plus cheerful ski instructors who are ace at skiing and great with kids, along with slow pommel lifts and belt conveyors for our very youngest guests. Cross-country skiing
Groomed tracks in Lindvallen: 3, 4 and 6 km. The 3 and 4 km trails are illuminated. By Sälenstugan/Gubbmyren, groomed tracks of 2, 3, 5, 7 and 10 km exist, of which the 3 km trail is illuminated. Read more about cross-country skiing in Sälen here.
