Högfjället is also ideal for families with children who want to let the kids head off on their own. The area isn’t so big, so there’s no risk of them getting lost. Compact, cosy and classic with the Högfjällshotel and its pleasures right beside the lift!
Högfjället has 12 runs and 13 lifts (including one belt).The highest vertical drop is 180 metres and the longest piste 1.1 km. If you like long, splendid runs with space for big turns, Högfjället is perfect. The runs are all in one area in the middle of Högfjället, making it easy to stay close to your friends, even if you’re all skiing at different speeds.
Högfjället’s ski system is interlinked with Lindvallen’s ski system via transport lifts. It takes around 20 minutes to get to Lindvallen by lift. Together the two systems form the Lindvallen/Högfjället ski field, a well-groomed and well-maintained field encompassing 1.8 million square metres. When you buy a SkiPass for Högfjället, the whole of Lindvallen is included as well (the reverse applies when you purchase a pass in Lindvallen). We also have a SkiPass that enables you to ski at all our resorts – the SkiPass  , which covers Lindvallen, Högfjället, Tandådalen and Hundfjället.

Children’s area
Högfjället has a large children’s area that is clearly laid out with easy runs and pommel lifts. Read more about children’s skiing here.

Ski school
In Högfjället there’s a defined ski school zone with pommel lift and belt for the little ones. The assembly point for the kids’ group ski school is by the Mården lift. The assembly point for teen, adult and snowboard groups and all private ski school lessons is in front of Högfjället’s guest service facility outside the Högfjällshotel, opposite the runs.
