Many good junior runs start out from Trollstugan. The family run is the biggest and is joined to a number of good green and blue runs where kids can tear along by themselves. The ski school in Hundfjället is in Barnbacken and has both a pommel lift and a belt conveyor. Competitions are held during the week for those who are desperate to race against their mum, dad or sibling.
Trollskogen
The name Hundfjället can be a little misleading, since it is actually trolls that rule the roost in Hundfjället. In its strange forest, Trollskogen is teeming with good-natured trolls who tell stories or play silly pranks. The trolls like to have fun with the kids both on the slopes and when skiing is over for the day.
Hundfjället Junior Park
If you’re new to skiing or snowboarding but want to learn in a park, Hundfjället Junior Park is a great place to start. Try skiing the jumps and boxes.
