Norway's largest children’s ski area

In Hemsedal Skisenter the children has a 70 000 m2 large area specially made for the youngest skiers. The area includes 7 slopes, 8 lifts, Lynxland, Mini Park with small jumps and rails, and Egil Skogen with barbeque area and tipi.

The carpet lifts and platter lifts in the children’s area are slow and easy to handle. The slopes have different levels so that both and beginners and experienced children will find the perfect slope.

Our free activities are located in the children’s ski area.

Children 6 years and younger ski for free in Hemsedal Skisenter, when using a helmet.

Minipark

New this season is a Mini Park between the lift P and S in the children’s area. The Mini Park will have small rails, jumps and boxes suited for the smallest free-skiers.

Lynxland

Our activity park Lynxland is located in the middle of the children’s ski area. Here children, accompanied by parents, can play in the snow, ski, sled, draw and try our carousel. Lynxland is open to all and is free, but is best suited for children 3-5 years.

Ski school for children

Ski School offers ski lessons for children from 3 years. The courses emphasize on play and fun on ski. Ski School Hemsedal has classes for all levels, both private and group lessons.
