New this winter is Via Feerata and sledding with head lamps after dark. Via Ferrata has been a popular summer activities for years, but has now been extended to the winter season. Via Ferrata
Via Ferrata is a form of climbing mountains, originally developed during the world wars to move troops through difficult mountain terrain. It`s objective was to be able to ascent the steep and difficult mountains safely and efficiently on fixed routes. Today this is a popular way of climbing in the Alps. Now you can experience this thrilling way of climbing in the beautiful mountains in Hemsedal, both during summer and winter season.
