Hemsedal has Norway's highest ski-point during winter season at the peak Totten 1450 meters above sea level. Hemsedal Skisenter also includes the peaks Røgjin at 1370 meters and Hammaren at 1444.

The northern and high location makes Hemsedal a snow safe ski location with a long winter season. Hemsedal Skisenter is open daily from middle of November to the first weekend in May.
Hemsedal is known for it nicely groomed slopes, great snowboard parks, large children’s ski area and easy accessible off-piste areas. The slopes are rarely crowded and the lift lines are short.
Hemsedal has a wide range of high standard cabins and apartments for rent. Most of the lodging is located ski in/ski out, or within walking distance to Hemsedal Skisenter.

Skischool Hemsedal has about 40 ski instructors teaching all levels and all ages.

Foxnest is our day care located right in the midle of Hemsedal Skisenter. For children from 6 months and older.
Skistar Skirental Hemsedal
Hemsedal Skisenter has 2 rental shops with equipment for slalom, snowboard and cross country. Skirental Hemsedal also has a shop in Solheisen Skisenter.
