Hemsedal is in Buskerud in Norway, and is one of Scandinavia's largest winter destinations. Hemsedal has about 2000 permanent residents.
Hemsedal has Norway's highest ski-point during winter season, at Totten 1497 meters above sea level. Hemsedal Ski Centre is includes Røgjin at 1370 meters and Hammaren at 1444,-. The high altitude and northern location secures stable winter conditions, and skiing from middle of November to the first weekend of May.

Hemsedla Ski Center has ski school, 3 ski rental outlets where you can rent most modern in equipment for alpine skiing and snowboarding and new large sport shop (opens December 6th).
