Hemsedal is a small village situated 625 - 1920 meters above sea level in the heart of the Norwegian mountain wilds. Hemsedal is one of Scandinavia´s largest ski destinations with landscapes reminiscent of the Alps. A stable inland climate ensures great winter experiences from November to May.

Hemsedal includes two skiing areas; Hemsedal ski centre with its three peaks Totten 1497 m, Hamaren 1444 m and Røgjin 1370 m, and Solheisen ski centre in Grøndalen.
