Whether you’re an experienced ski mountaineer or simply curious to try using climbing skins, you’re welcome to join us at Hammarbybacken 2h. Everyone can take part! The challenge is to collect as many vertical meters as possible in two hours by moving up and down the slope. There are two categories: adults and youths. You may take breaks whenever you need for hydration and energy. Each lap gives you 90 vertical meters.

Ski mountaineering race in Stockholm

Since the race takes place on a Sunday, we have the entire slope to ourselves, creating the perfect conditions for a more enjoyable and significantly safer course for all participants. In the event area, you’ll find a test center, clinics, music and warm juice.

After crossing the finish line, all participants are treated to coffee and cake in the café. This is also where we hold our traditional prize ceremony and raffle of great ski gear.
