The Experium experience centre in Lindvallen, Sälen, contains everything from an adventure pool, indoor surfing, a spa, a sauna world, bowling alley, playrooms, games, a 3D cinema, a gym, shopping and several bars and restaurants. Experium is one of the largest ventures of its kind ever made in the Swedish mountains. Behind Experium are SkiStar as well as Ulf and Bo Eklöf, two brothers who helped establish Stadium. Ulf och Bo Eklöf Invest AB and SkiStar AB each own 50% of Experium AB.
Facts about Sälen
Sälen is Sweden's second largest tourist destination with around two million visitors each year. The tourist industry in the Sälen and Malung region has annual sales of nearly SEK 2 billion. The ski area in Sälen is among the largest in Scandinavia. There are 116 descents and 93 lifts in the Lindvallen, Högfjället, Tandådalen and Hundfjället resorts. The main target group of Sälen is families with children, who are offered a number of family-friendly products and services such as all-inclusive packages and babysitting.
