What is the SkiPass card?
The SkiPass card is your reusable plastic card, which you charge with the number of days you want to ski, as well as the ski area in which you want to ski. The card can be purchased and charged directly here on the web. When you are on the slope, keep the ski pass card in your left pocket and slide gently through the lift card readers.
SkiPass card
You top up this personal ski pass yourself with the required number of skiing days before you leave home, which means you can head straight to the lift. You avoid having to stand in a queue to buy a ski pass, and above all you don't have to fumble for the card every time you want to pass through the lift barrier. It is sufficient for you to have your ski pass in your pocket in order to pass.
Charge and ski, charge and ski...
You can use your card time and again...Keep hold of your ski pass card and top it up with new skiing days via the website prior to each trip. You can also charge the card with skiing days at all SkiStar destinations, including in Åre and Sälen, as well as Hemsedal and Trysil in Norway.
Slide through the lift without having to take out your SkiPass!
Another unique property of your Ski Pass card is that you do not need to insert the card when you pass the turnstile. Just keep the card in your jacket pocket instead. When you pass the turnstile, the reader in the turnstile detects that your card is in your jacket pocket and you simply slide through. You avoid all the bother and frozen fingers.
You can also use the same card for many years. You recharge it with the period you have pre-booked and paid for.
Note that you must not make any holes in the card, as this would destroy important information that is stored on the card.
You receive a personal card with "accidental loss insurance"
If you should lose your card during your stay, and you still have your receipt with a barrier number, the ski pass system allows us to put the remainder of your skiing period on a new card. A new card costs SEK 45.
We need to receive your booking and payment at least 12 days before your arrival in order to have time to perform the necessary administration and send out your card.
If you already have a ski pass card, you can charge it on our website up until the day before you are due to travel.
