The best corduroy skiing in the mountains!
Björnrike offers probably the mountain's best corduroy skiing. Often on pistes over 2 km long and with vertical descents of up to 470 m, and Scandinavia's fastest six-seater chairlift. Mostly in sunny south-facing areas, and with a snow system able to handle the hot sunshine. It doesn't get much better than this.
By ‘Scandinavia's fastest’ we mean that the trip to the top takes less than six minutes. Right up at the top of Blästerfjället, two of the absolutely highest ranking pistes begin – Kodiak and Riket – with elite-class length and vertical descents. The skiing of your dreams awaits you – and Björnrike has a dozen or so more pistes with the same joyful holiday feel. Especially good is the fact that there is always at least one descent that is slightly easier from every lift.
Björnrike is increasingly referred to as the best family holiday mountain resort, and one of the reasons for this is Björnvallen. With playful pistes and gentle button lifts, heated cabins with all necessities, cosy lunches by a crackling fire, and a little shop which could be your saviour should you lose a glove.
