Safety in the slopes

The ski patrol in Trysilfjellets is there to make your skiing safe. Their main tasks are:

• First aid and transport of injured people
• Snow- and weather servcies, follow up on the snow conditions, and form the front party in case of avalanche
• Secrue and mark prepared slopes
• Inspect marked slopes
• Inform and guide skiers to the slopes

If an accident occures, please do as follows:

• Put your skis in an X above the place of the accident, so that everybody in the area can see that an incident has happened and be aware. 
• Contact the ski patrol by reporting the accident in the nearest lift.
• Give accurate information about the type of injury and the slope number.
