Always be aware of the danger of avalanche. Riding outside prepared and marked runs in Trysilfjellet is done at your own responsibility and risk.
Even if others have ridden in the area before you and you can see tracks from these riders, you should make an assessment yourself and take responsibility for the dangers and risks involved in riding outside the marked and secured runs.
The rider is completely and fully responsible for themselves during this type of riding, and must expect unpredictable dangers and obstacles. Always assess the avalanche risk and respect signs and markers.
Information boards are located close to most lifts that take you up into the mountains, with information on snow, snow conditions and avalanche risks. In terrain with inclines of more than approx. 20-30 degrees, the risk of avalanche is always present!
