Bittesmott - kids 3 years

In Trysil we have a group for 3 year olds which we call Bittesmott. This is our youngest ski school group.

Our objectives: The Ski schools ambition is to give children positive and enjoyable snow experiences so they want to ski for many years to come.

Children of this age may not fully have developed the coordination or have enough strenght to learn to snowplough or turn. Our aim for the week is to teach children to keep their balance and glide properly down the slope.

This is how we work: We find that children learn best through play and while having fun. We therefore take advantage of this fact during the lesson by playing games and singing songs that the children know, or learn during the lesson. Throughout the week we play and practise as much as possible with our skis on.

 Bittesmott: Beginner Course
A course aimed primarily at gaining a positive experience of snow and skiing from a young age. We will familiarise ourselves with the equipment, how our skis glide and how we slow down on the nursery slopes and perhaps we will even learn how to turn. The aim of the lessons is to learn through fun and games. We will ski as much as we can manage.

Requirements: you must have turned 3, and be able to be away from your parents for the duartion of the lesson.
