Bittesmott - kids 3 years
Bittesmott are the youngest pupils at the ski school.
Our goal with the Bittesmott is to give the children a positive experience on snow, so they want to go skiing for many years to come. At this age, not all children have developed their motor skills enough, or for that matter enough strength to learn to plough and turn. That's why we give priority to helping them keep in balance and be able to ski straight down the hill. If this works out well we practice braking and turning.
This is how we do it: Children learn best through play and by having fun. In our teaching we use games and songs the children know or learn to remember. During the week we play and practice as much as possible with skis.
Course description:
Bittesmott: Beginner Course
A course aimed primarily at gaining a positive experience of snow and skiing from a young age. We will familiarise ourselves with the equipment, how our skis glide and how we slow down on the nursery slopes and perhaps we will even learn how to turn. The aim of the lessons is to learn through fun and games. We will ski as much as we can manage.
Requirements: You are 3 years old, and are able to be away from your mum and dad.
