Different types of equipment

Our ski rentals have complete equipment for alpine, telemark, snowboard and cross country skiing. We also have snowblades and sledges.

Four levels

The equipment we rent out is divided into four levels: beginner, middle, advanced and advanced plus. In addition to your skiing abilities we also consider age, length and weight when we find the suitable equipment for you. 

Advanced plus
For you that wants the best equipment available on the market.  

Advanced:
For the skier that enjoys the red and black slopes, likes speed and want to develop his skiing.

Middle:
For the skier that have tried skis or snowboard before, and that can ski all levels of slopes.

Beginner:
For the beginners that prefer to ski in the children’s areas, and ride with the T-bar lifts.

Length, weight and shoe size

It is important that the boots have the right size, and that they are comfortable and give stability. It is also important that the equipment is adjusted to the skier’s weight and length. The binding must be installed correctly, and the skis must have the correct length. The binding has to unlock when you fall, to avoid unpleasant pronations and bone fractures.

Snowblades

Try snowblades! These skis are very short and extremely funny to use. Snowblades are 90-95cm long, and suits everybody. These skis are very popular among the youth.

Perfect location

Trysilfjellets ski rentals are located close to the slopes on both sides of the mountain. We always have the newest equipment, and the skis and snowboard you rent are always newly prepped.
