Age limits when booking accommodation

To be able to book/ conclude an agreement in respect of accommodation in Trysil, the guest must be aged 20 or over. At least two persons must be aged 20 or over to stay in the accommodation unless a higher age limit is stipulated in the confirmation.

Requires identification

Proof of identity must be provided on arrival. Satisfying the age limit is a requirement to gain access to the accommodation. If the guest does not satisfy the age limit when accessing the accommodation, the cancellation rules apply.

Groups

For organised groups, travel parties with a leader and families, exceptions may be made to the above regulations by agreement with SkiStar Norge AS. Other age stipulations may apply at certain periods.

Exceptions

There are special rules for New years, Easter and the season final weekend (Trysilsmellen). For these weeks the guest have to be aged 23 or over to make a booking. No guests under 23 years of age, not accompanied by parents or guardians, can stay in the accommodation these weeks.

Responsibility

The guest making the booking have to stay in the accommodation the whole stay, and has to make sure the general booking terms are observed. For certain units the age limit can be higher than 23 years. This is set in the Online booking.
