More in Eventyr
The Eventyr children’s area at Trysil Turistsenter is now even more exciting and has more features, including fun areas to practise turning, igloos and a more interesting forest run.
Good feedback
Project manager Turid Backe-Viken is pleased with all the positive feedback from guests.
- Families with small children have got a much better alternative in the Eventyr area, and the other children`s areas have also become more exciting and interesting for kids. Now we will develop our ideas further, she says. Read more about the children's areas in Trysil
Green park
Skiing and snowboarding in the park are becoming increasingly popular, and this season Trysil opens a new Green park for children and beginners. The park is located next to the Eventyr children’s area at Trysil Turistsenter, and contains small jumps and simple rails. This park is a good place to start for beginners.
New features in the Blue park
The Blue Park at Trysil Turistsenter was opened last season and has been a great success. We added several new features and jumps in the run-up to this season, making the Blue Park a truly exciting park for all the family.
Permanent jumps
Trysil Park has been voted the best in Norway on a number of occasions, and in the run-up to this season we focused even more strongly on the park. New snow cannons and permanent jumps have allowed us to extend the park’s season. The lower section of the park has also been relocated slightly so that the upper section of the Eventyr children’s area could be made wider and even safer for children.
New warming hut
Trysil Turistsenter now boasts a new, large warming hut or lounge, which is located in the cellar of the Velkomstsenteret (formerly the bowling alley). Here Trysil’s guests will be able to enjoy a warming hut covering 250 square metres.
Two new barbecue huts
Two large barbecue huts will also be installed, one at the Eventyr children’s area and one at Skihytta. The barbecue huts will have several grills and accommodate up to 25 people.
Cabin lift
A new cabin lift will also be installed at Fageråsen, as an extension of the existing cabin lift. This will greatly improve access to the upper cabin area above Utsikten and Panorama for guests staying in this area.
