Children's activities in Trysilfjellet
The weekly programme gives an overview of all activities during the winter season in Trysil. Many of these activities are free.
Check our weekly programme for 2011 - 2012. The fun starts in week 52. The activities take place mainly at Trysil Turistsenter (TS) and Trysil Høyfjellssenter (HS).

DAILY - ALL DAY
Family park in Eventyr (TS)
Terrain park for kids and beginners. Turn figures, Smottemilskogen, toboggan slope, ski carousel, toilets and warming hut. |
Family park in childrens area ( HS )
Terrain park for kids and beginners. Turn figures, toboggan slope, ski carousel, toilets and warming hut.

Gammelskogen (HS)
Here you will find Gammelgård, velodromes, jumps and lots of other fun stuff. Gammelskogen is located by the kids area at Trysil Høyfjellssenter. |
Lift-picker (TS and HS)
Ride with 23 of our lifts and receive a diploma. By each lift you will find a stamp, and when you have 23 stamps in your card you can collect your certificate. Some of the participants also receive a gift. This activity is a great way to get to know the Ski resort. |
Child care Hjemmestedet (TS and HS)
Open from 10.45 am to 3pm. Here's help for tired and frozen small skiers. Crayons, games, films, puzzels, cars and warmth. All kids are welcome. NOK. 100,- per hour. NOK 1.045,- per week. Read more about child care |

13.30-15.00 Have fun and play with Smottene in Eventyr (TS) and Gammelgård ( HS )
Meet Smottene, Trysils own mascots. They are out in the slopes and want to play with you. Free of charge. |

15:00 - 16:00 ( 16.00 - 17.00 from week 6 ) Children's afterski
Meet at the bottom of Eventyr, and join children's afterski. |
16:15 - 16:45 ( 17.15 - 17.45 from week 6 ) Smotte play at the stage in Smottemilskogen
All children watching the play can join the torch light skiing immediately after the play (week 52-9). |
To 20:00 Night skiing
Non-stop skiing until 20:00 on floodlit slopes from the 20th December to the 03. April. Read more about night skiing |
20:00 Torchlight skiing
It is a great sensation to be part of the torchlight ski procession down slope 15, Sindrebakken. To week 12, and free of charge. |

WEDNESDAY:
07:00 - 09:00 Early morning skiing (from the 8th February) (TS)
Eat breakfast in the warming hut by Høgegga, and go skiing in newly groomed, black-marked slopes long before the other guests in Trysil have even woken up. Buy the tickets one day in advance at the latest. Last day: 07. April. (also the 05. and 06. April). Read more about Early morning skiing

13:30 - 15:00 Visit Gammel at Gammelgård
Gammel tells about life at Gammelgård, the home of Smottene, and serves you Gammels treasure hunt. Free of charge. Trysil Høyfjellssenter. |
13:30 - 15:00 Skogbrum Treasure Hunt
For children of all ages, different difficulty levels. You get your treasure map from Skogbrum. Meeting place is at the bottom of Eventyr at Trysil Turistsenter. Free of charge. |
14:00 Trysil cup (slope 15 at TS and slope 43 at HS)
The whole family can compete in the difference slalom. Least time difference between two runs is the winner! Sign up at the starting gate. Free of charge. |

Easy, fun ski race for kids. Music, a speaker and a good race course. Naturally, Smottene and Skogbrum or Gammel are there to help you. Everyone gets a prize! Sign up at the ski school office. NOK 80,- per participant.
