Lindvallens Fäbod
At Lindvallens Fäbod the animals wander about in almost complete freedom and you can get really close to them. We also offer activities for the whole family and refreshments are served with the chance to enjoy a nice cup of coffee in peaceful mountain pasture surroundings.
Lindvallens Fäbod offers both new and returning activities for the entire family such as an open air walking & quiz competition, painting traditional horses from Dalarna, fishing and pony trekking. For the children there is also the Barnens Fäbod – the Children's Pasture. This is where children get the chance to experience the authentic pasture lifestyle: they get to help out when the animals are brought in for the night, feed them and naturally look after them.
In the café you can enjoy waffles, pastries, coffee, ice cream and anything else hungry visitors of all ages could want. In the café you will also find craft from the region and Sälen-produced sausages and cheeses, including whey cheeses.
Lindvallens Fäbod is situated at the car park of Snötorget, next door to Experium, Lindvallen's experience world.
