In between you will, for example, find the "långbackarna" which are marvellously wide and slopes that are steep enough for good carving turns. Tomorrow's park stars jump and jib in Trollparken. Few ski resorts are able to offer the same variety as Hundfjället.
There are slopes in all four directions making it easy to find the sunny side and the sheltered side. The greatest vertical drop is 240 metres and the longest piste is 2.1 km. Hundfjället's ski system is also connected to Tandådalen's ski system with transport lifts which take about 15 minutes. Your Hundfjället ski pass is also valid in Tandådalen, which gives you an extremely varied experience of skiing.

Children's and adventure areas
A large children's area and Trollskogen – a fairy tale lasting one kilometre with over 400 wooden troll sculptures. Trollskogen is also an experience for adults. Read more about Children's Sälen.
Ski school
The ski instructors in Hundfjället are experts at dealing with children and, what's more, they are really good skiers themselves. The ski schools in Hundfjället gather by "Barnbacken" (the children's slope) above "Trollstugan". Read more about the ski school.
Parks and offpiste
One of Sweden's best offpiste areas in terrain close to lifts. "Trollparken" and "Trollcrossen" are especially adapted for children. Read more about "Trollparken" at Sälenparks.com.
